komm schon Alter is one of the rare festivals that suit dance enthusiasts of all ages. The festival features a wide selection from Deep House to Melodic Techno, all with an emotional touch incorporating sounds from nature and dreamy vocals. DJs to watch are Dominik Eulberg, Joachim Pastor and Robag Wruhme
4. de Zon Festival – 28th May 2023, Tuinen van West, Amsterdam
de Zon Festival stands for outdoor partying with an intimate atmosphere. Last year they ironically changed their name to ‘de Regen’ (the rain) as it was raining cats and dogs. Let’s hope for better weathergods this year. Good to know, the day afterwards is a national bank holiday so there’s no reason to hold back. The line-up remains a well-kept secret…
5. 909 Festival – 3rd-4th June 2023, Amsterdamse Bos, Amsterdam
The 909 Festival returns to the beautiful Amsterdamse Bos, offering an incredible event experience. The festival features a wide range of techno acts like Henrik Schwarz, Mano le Tough, Marlon Hoffstadt and Pan-Pot as well as some new talents like Tjade and Tromp.
6. MYSTIC GARDEN FESTIVAL – 17th June 2023, Sloterpark, Amsterdam
MYSTIC GARDEN FESTIVAL is one of the most awaited festivals of the year, showcasing the best of Melodic House, Techno, and Indie Dance music. The line-up features talents such as Mitch De Klein, Perdu and Beswerda, as well as big names as Boys Noize.
7. Dixon b2b Âme @ Woodstock Bloemendaal – 25th June 2023, Woodstock Bloemendaal
Dixon b2b Âme @ Woodstock Bloemendaal is one of the events you do not want to miss this summer. The Innervisions bosses will play b2b all day long, at the amazing intimate beach club in Bloemendaal. 8. Wildeburg – 6th-10th July 2023, Kraggenburg
Wildeburg is like a wonderland. It is a 72-hour melting pot of music, art, and theatre. It offers a combination of weird and wonderful activities with an impressive line-up, including Amelie Paul, Budakid, Elias Mazian, Moscoman, Parallelle, Satori, Sofia Kourtesis and Tsepo.
9. Loveland Festival – 12th-13th August 2023, Sloterpark, Amsterdam
Loveland has always been a major festival in Amsterdam, and its popularity is growing year by year. Celebrating its 25th edition this year, it’s definitely going to be one for the books. In the midst of the summer, below the trees and next to a lake, the festival will host huge names like Âme, Black Coffee, Dixon, Hernan Cattaneo, Ivory, Maceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin and Tale of Us.
10. STRAFWERK Festival – 19th August 2023, Havenpark, Amsterdam
STRAFWERK Festival is one of the most popular festivals in Amsterdam, bringing together the best of techno, deep house, and electronica. This year, the headliners include some of the best Melodic House & Techno artists of the moment; Adriatique, Camelphat, Colyn & Fideles, to name just a few.
11. ZeeZout – 2nd September 2023, Tuinen van West, Amsterdam
ZeeZout belongs to a group of distinguished festivals, providing both well-known names and a niche line-up, all at the idyllic setting of Tuinen van West. This year you will be able to see Hunee, Ineffekt, Job Jobse and Skatebård amongst others.
12. Into The Woods – 15th-16th September 2023, Amersfoort
Into the Woods is a two-day festival that takes place in the beautiful forest of Amersfoort. The festival is known for its diverse and insightful programming, and one-of-a-kind setting with an extensive light show between the trees. The line-up still has to be released, but last years they were able to book top acts such as Joachim Pastor, Denis Sulta, Cubicolor, Monolink and Agents of Time.
